I am a firm believer that it doesn’t have to cost a lot to look cute… and here is why and how I styled my “bargain basement” shirt.
Here’s the thing, whenever I walk by a small boutique I always walk in. You never know what you may find, and sometimes… you will be pleasantly surprised. This was a shirt I bought in Asia on my recent trip, from a little grandma in a little shop in a small alleyway. It was made of 100% cotton and incredibly breezy. For the equivalent of $10 USD, I couldn’t say no.
The trick is, to upgrade everything else in the outfit. I wore my favorite bralette, paired it with my pink Claudie Pierlot shorts (front bow detail), put on some fun fuchsia socks and wore some blingey trainers… threw on a very busy bracelet and Voila! Who is going to notice or care that my shirt cost only 2 flat whites when the outfit is this complete~ never be hindered by a price tag, my lovelies!
